RSSA Day To Remember

As Montanans, we'll never forget that day, seven years ago, when a beautiful fall sky was darkened by the tragedy of September 11th. The senseless attacks on our nation – and the loss of so many American lives – will remain with us forever. We will not forget those innocent Americans who died and fell, those that valiantly worked to save lives, and those who were left behind facing the loss of loved ones.
It took the heroic efforts of everyday people to respond to the attacks, and to then work tirelessly, day in and day out, to help our nation heal. When our firefighters and emergency personnel were asked to go in, they went with their heads held high; and when we were asked to donate our time and our resources, we gave all that we could. To this day, I am proud of how Montanans and the rest of our nation united in our response to the tragedy and infamy of that September day.
As Americans, we stand together in our love of our nation and in our commitment to working to make it a better place. As your Senator I work every day to do what is right for Montana and to protect our citizens within our borders. I am honored to represent you in the United States Senate and I am proud to stand together with you as Americans.
